The Spanish under-19s national team showed once more that the country dominates on the football fields.

This weekend, the team won its sixth title as European champions after a victory against Greece by 1-0.

The goal was scored by Jesé Rodríguez – the top scorer and best player in the tournament – after an assist from Gerard Deulofeu.

In the final, the team had clearly improved from the previous games. Against both Portugal and France, the team showed its ability to score goals, but also its lack of strength on the defense.

The team, however, offered its best side in the final and showed its ambition to win from the start, and it did achieve a well-deserved victory.

Spanish football team is without doubt a step ahead of other teams in Europe at this time, which the younger team has now also showed. Their victory can now be added to the one by the national team in the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine in the beginning of July.
